Lighting Design Awards Finalists 2014

Precision Lighting’s Pico Zoom variable beam LED mini-spotlight system has been shortlisted for the 2014 Lighting Design Awards at the London Hilton on March 20, 2014.

Precision Lighting’s new Zoom optic varies beam widths between 12o and 30o. Zoom is an addition to the entire Pico range of LED mini-spotlights. The combination of adjustable optics and exceptionally smooth movement makes it possible to position and focus these discreet spotlights with pinpoint accuracy. Applications include retail and gallery display.

Pico spotlights have advanced technical features traditionally only seen on larger architectural luminaires, such as low-friction bearing-aided rotation and a constant torque tilt mechanism. The Pico range is also lockable in pan and tilt to ensure that focusing remains precise. The Pico is available with the Precision Lighting Jack Plug system, offering complete flexibility to the specifier.

The Pico range includes the new, Pico S1, which weighs just 100g and is mounted on a slender stem for applications such as cabinet lighting and cantilevered picture lighting.
Pico S1 delivers a lumen package of 124lm at 1.9W. A colour temperature of 3000K and colour rendering of CRI80 are standard; others are available. A 360mm stem is standard. Pico luminaires are machined from aerospace-grade 6063-T6 aluminium.
